I love one skein shawls… I know they are an easy project to jump on, they allow us to dream big with a small investment (just one skein) and they just make every single yarn of a very special yarn count. 
And while this shawl is not technically a one-skein project, it ALMOST is, and it was born as a one-skein idea to me, so hopefully you will find one special skein to make it!
For this shawl you will need 1 skein of laceweight yarn (I used mohair) and a few yards (50y tops) of a coordinating fingering weight yarn (I used leftovers).
I love designing with negative space. The new popularity of mohair has allowed me to play with light and shadows in my knitting, creating see-through textures and delicate contrasts. 
For Wispy, I used two yarns in a similar shade of dusty pink, but you can use completely different colors, to make the solid striping stand out more.
 
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 
66 inches (165 cm) from side to side and 20 inches (50 cm) from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).
 
MATERIALS 
Yarn: 1 skein of KidMo Silk Lace by Wobble Gobble (60% mohair/40% silk; 656 yards 600m/50g) or approx 540 yards (494m) of lace weight yarn - Shown in colorway Dogwood. Referred to as ‘Mohair’ in the pattern.
1 partial skein of Merino Single by La Bien Aimée (100% merino; 400 yards 365m/100g) or approx. 50 yards (45m) of fingering weight yarn - Shown in colorway Damask. Referred to as ‘Merino’ in the pattern. 
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) needles. 
Other notions: Tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.
 
GAUGE 
17 st and 30 rows to 4” (10cm) in stockinette st on US 6 (4 mm) needles after blocking.
